What to Expect

SCROLL DOWN

What to Expect

Sunday worship services are designed with you in mind. On Sundays we throw a party in celebration of Jesus. Expect to feel welcomed with a sparkle in our eyes. You will experience the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ in a creative atmosphere of music, arts and teaching. One of the primary characteristics you will notice is the surprising level of purposed energy you will encounter in our packed out house. After the worship band opens service, one of our gifted preaching faculty will present a timeless truth of the Gospel with humor and sincerity. The topics are culturally relevant and can immediately be applied to life's challenges. At LifePointe you will think, feel, and experience.

Worship

Worship

Our Sunday worship experiences feature amazing artists that inspire attenders to connect with God. A service might open with a drum team performance, a quality modern dance or energizing video. Then our worship band will lead us into a 20-minute heartfelt time of singing declarations, affirmations and affections to God. These portions are powerful and engaging. You can sing along, clap your hands and if you are feeling courageous you can even lift your hands in intimate surrender to God. The cool thing is that you can roll with it how best fits you. If you want to simply stand and watch we know you will be captivated for sure. But don’t be surprised if your feet start tapping and your hands start clapping.

WHERE DO I Start?

WHERE DO I Start?

START THE JOURNEY

We know that it can be intimidating to jump into a growing faith with a new community. We have thought through and designed a path for people just like you. Whether this is a brand new experience with Jesus Christ, or a renewed commitment to church community, we will give you clear next steps that give hope, inspire dreams and empower purpose. We believe that every element of your new life of faith holds awesome purpose, and we are here to back you up, as you walk it out.

THE LIFEPOINTE START TRACK: Start Track is a 4-week experience designed to help you know how to “win the day” in every sphere of life, acclimate to church culture, know your value in church ministry and to equip you with the tools to to make a difference. You will be surprised all the ways our church will empower you. You can jump in any Sunday with a goal of attending all four topics. Childcare is provided in our KidsLife ministry happening at our 11:00 Worship Experience.

Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

LifePointe Church is an inclusive church for all people! What that means is that we hold to Christian orthodoxy’s non-negotiable tenets while honoring those who are processing their growing relationship with Christ. We hold as fact that the Bible is true, there is only one God, Jesus is the only way to God, hell is real, everyone has sinned, sin destroyed the mutual bonds between God and man, and Jesus holds the unique right to restore people to intimate relationship with God (salvation). We realize that culture, politics, traditions and lifestyles are often counter to Biblical positions. Our goal is to magnify an experiential relationship with Christ, expecting the rich reward of bonding intimacy to mold a person’s ethics and evolving standard of truth revealed in Scripture.

LifePointe holds to “essentials” in the Christian faith. We also have convictions about, lead and promote various “non-essentials.” Essential doctrine refers to the non-negotiables (doctrines) of basic Christian faith. Essentials are what we believe is the bare minimum to authentic Christian faith. Non-essentials refer to the negotiables (doctrines) that we hold dear as a leadership team but are unnecessary prerequisites to relationship with Christ. So in essentials we desire unity, in non-essentials liberty, and in all things we pursue charity!

 CHRISTIAN ESSENTIALS

The Bible - The Scriptures, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired and infallible revelation of God to mankind. The Bible is the supreme and final authority on all matters of faith and conduct. We accept the Bible as the revealed will of God, as the all-sufficient rule of faith and patience, and for the purpose of maintaining the general unity of all our statements of faith.

God is One (Trinity) - The one true God has revealed Himself as the “I Am,” the Creator and Redeemer of mankind. God is one in essence and three in person (this is known as the doctrine of the Trinity). God is revealed as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is God - The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God. Jesus was more than a good teacher and moral leader. As Messiah He is and always was God. No other world-religion (Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.) leads to God. Jesus is the only access people have to an intimate relationship with God the Father.

The Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is God and lives within every believer. He is a person with real personality traits to be experienced by a relationship with Him. He is the person who applies the Saving work of Christ to a sinner’s heart. He is a tremendous source of assurance, comfort, strength, wisdom, guidance and miracle power. The Holy Spirit provides "gift" empowerments to and through the Believer to capture the hearts of the broken and unengaged. Believers are also privileged to engage Spirit-inspired devotional-prayer languages by the grace of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers healings, miracles and other supernatural signs as a normal part of the disciple's life.

Humanity, Sin and Salvation - Man was created good and upright; however, man voluntarily rejected God’s ideal plan, and consequently, became spiritually dead and banished from God. Man's only hope is through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ, demonstrated at Christ’s crucifixion. Salvation, or being justly restored to full intimacy with God, is wholly dependent upon the work of God’s free grace. This work of grace empowers an individual’s voluntary faith (demonstrated by repentance) to accept the free gift of Salvation. Jesus Christ is the only way to a personal relationship with the God. Humanity cannot morally achieve intimacy with God by good deeds. The justice of God can only be legally satisfied, which is required for intimacy with Him, by accepting Christ’s redeeming work on his/her behalf (Salvation). Without Salvation man is destined for a final eternal condition separated from God. This eternal condition is called Hell, with intense suffering resulting from the full separation of all the good attributes in God. Eternal good, fun, love and peace can only be experienced in the span of God’s presence. Hell voids all that is good out; that is the primary context of Hell’s torment.
