JOPLIN DISASTER RELIEF

We had a great response from the LifePointe community as well as the entire Kansas City community in support of our Joplin Relief trip on Monday, May 30. In less than a weeks time, we were able to raise over $4500 in cash contributions and take two truck loads of supplies to Joplin. Over 50 people were able to make the trip to Joplin on Monday to help unload the trucks at a shelter, we were then sent to sort three semi trucks of clothes and bedding, and hand out water.

What great workers everyone was to dig in and get done anything that was needed on the trip.

We had support from Channel 41 and Channel 5, support from LifePointers who could not make the trip, but fed us before we took off and saw us off, and support from each other. God has touched so many lives...what an AWESOME thing.
