EXECUTIVE AND YOUTH PASTOR

WHO IS JASON REGIER?

I grew up on a corn farm in Western NE. I grew up with values of hard work, family, church, and creating space to have fun. My experience is one that I wish more kids had the opportunity to enjoy. I came to faith as a young kid with my parents leading the way. However, my faith didn't catch fire until college when I became friends with several college-age students who were passionate about Jesus.

My wife, Dolly, and I have 2 daughters and one on the way.

DEGREES:

Bachelor’s Degree from Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kansas

HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT LIFEPOINTE?

I found LifePointe online because I was searching for a church in the KC area that preached the Word (Redemption/Authority of the Believer/Holy Spirit) but had a heart for the lost.

HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR PRESENT ROLE AT LIFEPOINTE?

First let me say that LifePointe has impacted my life in so many ways. My relationship with God and my faith in God has grown exponentially. I have found lifelong friends and mentorship. I've also had the opportunity to come on full-time staff and live out my dream of ministry.

I had some preparation in college (through my degree and service opportunities) for my role, but most of my preparation and development has been at LifePointe. I served as a volunteer for many years, but more importantly, I was hungry to grow and tried to be part of everything that LP offered. I served on the worship team for a few years before being asked to lead the worship team. I led the worship team for 5 years before coming on as full-time staff. In my full-time role, I have led the worship and youth for 8 years and executive and youth now for almost a year.

My favorite part of what I do is empowering leaders and seeing that leader own the vision and make decisions.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT LIFEPOINTE?

Over the years it's been the multiple opportunities to encounter God through services, mentoring, coffee meetings, and serving. Currently, my favorite part is groups.
