UNSTOPPABLE
What would happen if we all truly embraced our mission to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ? Jesus and His first century followers understood that the local church should strive to be the life-transforming agent, becoming "the hope of the world!" Even so, people often look to institutions, governments, and even education for life change. But these alternative agencies fall short in their capacity to affect the human heart. Instead, God ordained a living, relational organism (not institutionalized organization) called the church to be the conduit for His loving grace to do the work of holistic heart transformation.
There is nothing as significant as living life with eternity as the backdrop of our lives. This eternal perspective leads us to realize that we as separate individuals will be massively under resourced unless we move together as the church, a united body of Believers, with an army of gifts, talents, strengths and vision to fulfill something that brings pleasure to God, inspires people and changes lives.
So what would happen if we all truly embraced our mission to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ? We could become an unstoppable force. In this moving series about purpose, relationships and doing ministry together, Pastor Patrick will provoke our hearts to a "throw down" and make our lives meaningful!
