Where does the money GO?

Jesus said, “GO and make disciples…(Matt 28:19).” At LifePointe we are about becoming disciples and making disciples. These require a commitment of human and financial resources.

We can accomplish more together than we can alone. Since 2001, faithful individuals at LifePointe Church have given millions of dollars to impact the community, region, and world with tangible examples of the love of Christ. We are a generous church. Here are some areas where your giving makes the difference:

  • Our Home:
    • LifePointe Sundays- We are creating a church the unchurched LOVE to attend! There are over 370,000 people within a 20 minute drive of our campus that are unchurched; they have assessed that the existing 237 churches in our area have nothing of value to add to their lives. We believe we can succeed in reaching these families through being fun, innovative, attractive, and helpful.
    • LifePointe Campus- We honor God by caring for our church property and the tools necessary to create excellent environments that are inviting and secure. We communicate care and value to people through a clean, comfortable facility. We have many campus projects that have been put on hold as we grow financially. Some items will need to be addressed soon.
    • LifePointe Staff- As you know, we took a huge and courageous step of faith in following our heart to receive our great staff pastors. The Regiers and the MacManamys have made a difference in teenagers, families, and the entire community. I am indebted to God for bringing them here. The spiritual gifts they have are adding to the momentum.


  • Our Community:
    • XTreme Kid’s Camp- We are preparing for our very first VBS-type experience at the end of June: an outreach to the children in and around LifePointe. The week will apex with a water baptism and all campers’ families will be invited. We would love to then introduce them to a dynamic LifePointe Sunday Worship Experience. This will be one of our most successful outreaches to date.
    • At The Movies- We will be doing a mass mailing to invite and connect with our community as we prepare for our September At The Movies series. You’ll once again see two 9-foot-tall Oscars, movie playbills, Hollywood stage props, and popcorn during the messages! After the gain we experienced in last year’s series, we are positioned to invite our friends with conviction; we already know what they will get.


  • Our World:
    • Velocity Church, Lawrence- We are supporting Justin and Marissa Jenkins as they launch a new church. Unquestionably a most effective form of evangelism is church planting. We get to be a part of a move of God for Lawrence!
    • Upgraded Web Site- As we grow we want to continue making the mylifepointe.com web site a proud place to send your friends. It is remarkable that we can utilize technology allowing anyone in the world to experience a LifePointe service "live" while interacting with others who are also watching.
LifePointe is an amazing community because you generously stretch to new graces in God! Giving is a reflection of a heart full of faith, trust, humility, and gratefulness. Isaiah 32:8 tells us, "...a generous man devises generous things, and by generosity he will stand." Keep in mind this is influencing the lives of hundreds of people now and thousands in our future.
  • Every week LifePointe is becoming a church the unchurched LOVE to attend! They are finding out they matter to God!
  • Every week people are coming to Christ, growing in the Word, getting filled with the Spirit, worshipping God and reaching out to their friends with the gospel.
  • Every week kids and teens are connecting with the Lord in a real, life-changing way. Young people are getting to know Jesus personally and they are being taught what it means to be a Christian in this modern culture. We are raising up a generation of strong, on-fire kids for God!
  • Every week individual lives, marriages, and families are being restored through our Worship Experiences, encouraging communications, and small groups.
  • Every week hope and help is being brought to the poor and hurting as LifePointe gives time, energy and finances to support ministries and missionaries - both locally and globally.
